My first Memebox was a collaboration box between
Coffee Break with Dani, but I had not been attracted by any of the collaboration boxes they have created since. That is until this awesome box came out!
This is a box curated by a Youtube blogger
SoothingSista and from her channel I had assumed it was going to be mostly make up products like a lot of the recent Youtube based collaboration boxes. I was pleasantly surprised when this was mostly awesome skincare!
I had planned to get it anyway because of the gorgeously designed box, and send anything useless to
Kitty, but I was so pleased with the items she is getting none of it. I don't like her that much.

I love how the cover design continues on the inside. |
This box contains seven full size items and only cost $23. Compared to the lacklustre $19 boxes I had recently received this looked like an absolute treasure trove in comparison!
Memebox did actually upload some pictures of Stephanie (aka Soothing Sista) visiting their US headquarters so I have some faith she did actually choose and try the products herself, but they're all really great!

1. Vicioni Super Aqua Soothing Serum 30ml $29 |
This is a 100% natural serum with no chemical preservatives or artificial ingredients. I always like natural products and this feels wonderfully silky on the skin. The Memebox description basically says that it doesn't smell great but that is because it only has the best natural ingredients and doesn't have fragrance etc to make it smell nicer. I find the smell quite nice and it seems like something that could have fitted quite easily into the Little Mermaid box, as it reminds me of the sea. It does have 'ocean energy' from sea grape and 'sea minerals' so I am excited to try this in my skincare routine. Again Memebox has a disclaimer saying it takes longer to absorb because of the natural ingredients but I didn't find that, it absorbed pretty nicely on me!

2. Tonymoly Egg Pore Blackhead Steam Balm 30g $11 |
I love the packaging of this. It has a lot of attention to detail, the inner lid is yellow like an egg yolk and I love the little chicken on the outer packaging. I am easily pleased by small details! The product is fairly low volume but it is really nice to use. It contains white salt, charcoal and egg yolk to scrub away black and white heads and basically generally exfoliate. I tried this earlier tonight and did not really find it heated up much on my face. Maybe I am doing it wrong! It did feel really nice though and my skin on my nose feels a lot smoother! Based on initial impressions this is definitely a product I would repurchase.

3. Shara Shara Miracle Capsule Cream 50ml |
Again with the cute packaging! So cute in fact I have bought the White Bear version which came in the Thanksgiving box (cannot remember if it was one or two!) It is a clear gel textured moisturiser which absorbs quickly enough to be used as a day moisturiser for me. It has a fresh scent like baby powder and is supposed to have anti wrinkle properties.

4. Etude House Goodbye Pore Ever Primer Essence 20ml $11 |
This is a pore primer, similar to the Porefessional and the Miguhara BP cream. This is clear so I guess it is more similar to the Maybelline Baby Skin primer. I do however prefer this a lot more than that. It does have a silky silicone feel to it but I have yet to find a pore minimising prier that works without that, and I like it personally. This also claims to control shine without being dehydrating. I don't like this as much as the Porefessional but it is definitely a product I will make use of! I was surprised how similar this packaging was to Holika Holika pore products, I had assumed it was HH until I double checked!

5. Dewytree Deep Detox Black Mask $3 |
My first sheet mask was a Dewytree black ginseng mask so I am happy to get another finally! (they are never on sale in the Memeshop, *hint hint*) It is a volcanic based mask which charcoal, papaya, grapefruit and walnuts. I love sheet masks and can never have enough despite Kitty being very mean to me about it.

6. Vivito Painting Matte Finish Lipstick $30 |
This was the only multiple choice product in the box and I got it in raspberry purple. I am not really seeing a lot of purple in that picture but it is a lovely pink. I really wanted the Orchid Purple so have set up an elaborate three way trade in the UK Memebox group in order to swap for it so I won't be swatching this sorry! I wasn't going to keep this but it looked really great in the SoothingSista unboxing video so I will keep it. I don't reckon it will be up to par with Western lipsticks that costs £20+ and I kinda hate the packaging also!

7. Revecen Blooming Collagentox Sleeping Water Pack 90ml $18 |
This to me is the most exciting product in the box and one of the main reasons I bought it, though it turns out I love everything. This sleeping pack contains snail mucus, aloe vera, orange zest, Japanese prickly ash berries, and most excitingly birds nest extracts! This is the first birds nest product I have received and I have heard brilliant things about it. Also anyone who has ever watched Nothing To Declare will have seen the fines people are willing to risk to import birds nest into Australia so clearly this stuff is amazing! I love sleeping packs so this is going to be a lovely product for me. It has yellow vitamin capsules within the cream to replenish, firm up and balance uneven skin tone.
For me this is one of the best boxes I have got in the post from Memebox. The boxes are very thin on the ground at the moment, with only two for sale at the time of posting and those two are really low in stock! They have asked on Instagram for recommendations for future collaborations so I have high hopes for some more boxes of this calibre! This cost me $25 altogether as I used a $5 coupon. My $5 coupon for this month is RQ6V9A. The value of this box is $120, and considering I will use everything it is more than worth $25 of my money!
The link below will take you to the Memeshop which actually has things in, unlike the box section, don't forget $5 off a $30+ spend is RQ6V9A!
As always thanks you for reading.
