Christmas 2014

So I am a little late to the party with this one! At Christmas and New Year I get very out of a routine and somehow instead of having more time I feel like I have none! Anyway I wanted my first post of the New Year to be a lovely positive one about some lovely things I was very lucky to get for Christmas. My family is pretty small so this won't be as crazy as a lot of the 'what I got for Christmas' hauls, but I am super happy with everything!

So first I went to my friends on Christmas Eve as is tradition! We had pizza, played Cards Against Humanity and swapped presents! Mine seem very themed! I got a lovely Alice in Wonderland Cheshire Cat mug and some caramel coffee from one friend, and some drinking fudge (which is amazing!) some 'Plush Puffs' and a bottle of Salted Caramel Popcorn vodka which isn't in the picture and was all consumed last night... I am a big foodie and all of these are going down very well!

Memebox x CutiePieMarzia: Unboxing and Review!

I grabbed this box in a recent restock. Admittedly I was so used to seeing Marzia's face all over Memebox I had started to ignore all references to her. I thought this was just her second box which has been hanging around Memebox (and the shop, and other boxes...) for a long time. It took a very lovely girl on Facebook to point out she just bought the CutiePieMarzia with the Snow White eyeliners before I even realised it had restocked.

The main buzz product from this box was the Snow White eyeliners. I wasn't initially fussed about them as I didn't see the appeal. However, after getting a glimmer bronze liner in my Lucky 10 I was really impressed with the quality. By then I had already decided to give away my Cute Wishlist 1 box so I was really happy to get another chance at the eyeliners in this box!

Small Haul: Burberry Lipstick Limited Edition Holiday Collection!

I thought I would get this up quick in case the Limited Edition lipstick included threatens to sell out. It isn't a limited edition colour but it was one I didn't have, and the packaging was beautiful for the Christmas season!

Haul and Collection: Guerlain Meteorites Compact, Perles and Primer!

It's the time of year when lots of department stores have their big beauty offers on, which is bad news for my bank but good news for my loyalty card points. That is how I justify it anyway! Currently Debenhams is offering £7.50 of points on a £50 spend and House of Fraser is offering 10 points per pound. I also still get student discount on House of Fraser which is helpful! Therefore I decided to pick up a few things that I had been looking at, two of which were Guerlain. Then I decided to do a little chat and review about the products in my collection from Guerlain which I haven't blogged about before.

So I guess you could say I like Meteorites

So after that completely rambling intoduction lets have a look at the Meteorite collection from Guerlain.

Memebox New Release: CutePieMarzia 3 Collaboration

A Memebox on a Saturday! Thats pretty new! This time it is the third Memebox by CutiePieMarzia. This is way better than her second box but still not sure whether I will be purchasing. Links to the box and its contents are in the pictures.

Memebox Global 15: Unboxing and Review

Memebox Special 11 Cacao: Unboxing and Review!

When I saw I had 2 packages on my kitchen table after work I wasn't sure which Memeboxes they were as I have *cough* 5  coming this week! However when I picked it up it was pretty obvious, as the smell of chocolate (real chocolate, not fake synthetic beauty product chocolate!) was overwhelming.

I grabbed this box in a restock so its definitely worth having a stalk every now and again of Memebox if there is an older box you would love to have! This is the second of 3 restocks I have picked up so far, first was Milk and I have Snail 1 on the way too.

Memebox Global 18

So those restocks weren't as exciting as I had hoped but I did pick up the Snail Box 1 which I am very happy to try out!

Memebox has now released Global Box 18. Global boxes tend to have a good mix of items, and have a very good overall value. They have no theme and I havent personally got a global box yet but I have ordered 17-19 in a bundle where you only pay shipping once. I shall put up links to both 18 on its own and the bundle.

Brand Overview: Benefit Cosmetics Make Up and Skin Care

So I decided to do a general review of Benefit rather than split it up into different products as so many of Benefit's products are multi purpose, or are off the wall. Benefit is such a popular brand, and when I first got into make up Benefit was the be all and end all for me.
Now I have had chance to get more into skincare and make up and try other brands I thought I would do a 'hot or not' round up of Benefits products including what I would buy again, what I would not and why!

The packaging is stunning. We have to give them credit there!

So I am classing vamps as deep dark reds, pinks, purple. Blackened plums and super dark reds.
