Tom Ford Lip Colour Matte Black Dahlia: Swatch and Review

So I didn't think I would ever pick up a Tom Ford lipstick. They are expensive, the colours are all fairly dupable and I had never heard rave reviews. Brilliant reviews, sure, but not enough to justify a £37 lipstick!

But then they brought out mattes. Any my resolve flew out the window.
Admittedly I had always lusted over Black Orchid, which was limited edition and I missed. When I saw they were bringing out Black Dahlia in matte, I was sorely tempted. Then House of Fraser was offering 10 points per £1, and with 10% discount the lipstick worked out at £30. Still a lot, but more acceptable to me...

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick Glastonberry Review: Lip and Hand Swatch

When I wear lipsticks I always tend to go for dark colours, reds, purples, deep pinks. I rarely wear nudes or pale colours as they don't work with my pale skin. Therefore when I saw this wonderful colour on the Charlotte Tilbury website I had to grab it!

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick Bond Girl Review: Lip and Hand Swatch

The second of my individual lip and hand swatches of the Matte Revolution lipsticks by Charlotte Tilbury. This time in Bond Girl, a delicious rose pink!

Bullet
This may have made me feel like a Bond Girl if my skin wasn't so rubbish right now and I wasn't getting ready for work! Bond Girls don't work, they just *ahem* hang out with James.

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick Love Liberty Review: Lip and Hand Swatch

As requested by a lovely lady on Facebook I have started my Charlotte Tilbury individual lip swatch with Love Liberty, one of her matte revolution shades! This is a lovely raspberry shade with a matte finish. One thing I have found so far with CT is that they last so well, even through food. I have just eaten a bacon sandwich and although it isn't as neat as when I first applied it, its definitely still there!

In the bullet
I would say the colour is very true to the bullet and is opaque in one application.

Haul: MAC, NARS, Guerlain, Urban Decay, Marc Jacobs

I have had a few random parcels come in over the past few weeks, from the MAC Matte Lip Launch, the FeelUnique £10 off deals, and a couple of Facebook sales too. None of them really warranted their own post so I kept them all for one big one!

Scary reflection on the Marc Jacobs palette for you all!

Haul: Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks - Matte Revolution and K.I.S.S.I.N.G

Martha and Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick sitting in a tree, K.I.S.S.I.N.G.

Yeah I have a problem...

Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks
So in my last Charlotte Tilbury haul I picked up two lipsticks, Matte Revolution Red Carpet Red and K.I.S.S.I.N.G Night Crimson. I was so impressed by both, they both had great pigmentation, looked beautiful and had great staying power. Red Carpet Red stuck around through a Thai curry! So I managed to get myself a little casual job at the gym I go to taking a fitness class on an evening to fit in with my current full time job, which now means I get my gym membership for free. So I guess I decided to spend 4 months gym subs on lipstick like a sensible girl.

Haul: Charlotte Tilbury - Filmstar Bronze and Glow, Lipsticks, Blush, Magic Cream

So I have finally got around to my Charlotte Tilbury haul which I have had for about two weeks. The reason for the delay is my original Filmstar Bronze and Glow came completely shattered on the Highlight shade which was pretty sad to open! CT did sort it out and quickly despatched another one along with some samples of their foundation so I am definitely pleased with the customer service they offer!

Stunning packaging!
So sad thoughts over, click through to see what I picked up!

MAC Haul: Lipstick, Blush and Mini Pigments.

Whose ready for a haul with terrible swatches? I hope you are.

So recently Debenhams had 10% off beauty, so considering MAC never goes on offer I decided to get a few bits I was after. I also then bought some things from the MAC online store that were not available in Debenhams, the travel sized mini pigments as I had swatched them in a MAC store and they are gorgeous.

All my goodies together!

MAC Haul: A Novel Romance Collection!

So I got a few things from the Novel Romance collection. I decided to allow myself as I didn't want anything from The Simpsons collection (packaging was too cartoony, I like cute but, hmmm) or the Artificially Wild, and I also won't be interested in the Rocky Horror collection, so I needed something from an LE collection right?

Happiness in a bag!

Burberry Lip Velvet: Bright Poppy and Pink Azalea

Clearly looking at my lipstick collection, I don't have enough and need more...

So this happened.

Worth it for the bag!
I bought 2 lipsticks from Burberry, and you cannot take it away from them, considering it was a comparatively titchy order the packaging is stunning and was shipped for free, next day delivery.
