Memebox Special 73 Brighten and Correct: Unboxing and Review!

The second part of my bundle was the Brighten And Correct box. I have quite fair skin so I really like brightening products to keep it even and fade any scars or marks from spots that occasionally come along and ruin things!

Memebox Global Shop
That picture sold it to me. A lovely even fair skin tone, the stuff of dreams! Although admittedly something that is seeming ever closer with some of the awesome products I have found which are being repurchased!

Everything together
This box contains five full size items. Memebox promises 4-8 full size or deluxe sample products, so I guess five is on the lower side of that. However with five awesome products I would rather have that than eight so-so items!

Cards!

At least one product which ran away from the Green Foods box and got lost! A lot of these products are called 'whitening' and I know for many this has negative connotations. In Korean skincare though, whitening is just another word for brightening and does not contain any bleaching agents to actually affect skin tone, which is good!

1. Ariul Spa Water 24hours Moisturising De-tox Mask 100ml $26
This looks so fancy! I'm such a packaging junkie and this is right up my street. I love the ombre affect and the watercolour style of the box. You can buy this at the Memeshop currently for the $26. This mask is similar to the Elizavecca Milky Piggy Carbonated mask in that it bubbles and foams up by itself when applied to a dry face. You massage it in with lukewarm water then rinse off. It has a pump so it is easier to dispense than the milky piggy.
It is a moisturing cleansing mask as well as a pore unclogging mask, and recommended for those with dry and easily irritated skin. Brilliant! I feel like this is something that will be repurchased so I am glad I can get it at the Memeshop!

2. AHC Hologram Collection Whitening Serum 50ml $89
Another AHC product! These seem to be popping up a lot, along with Shara Shara, Dr MJ and Neogen, but I definitely won't complain. This is a very pricey serum, similar to the one I received in my 'Next Best Thing in Skincare' Memebox which I have yet to blog... soon. I much prefer this one as it has a creamier consistency and feels very nourishing. The middle swirls remind me of the Stila multicoloured face primer. It looks really cool and I very much like this serum and will happily buy any that people are selling, though not necessarily for $89! I cannot really smell anything so this may be good for girls who like their products unfragranced.

3. LadyKin Broccoli Super Brightening Cream 60ml $14
And next in the Green Foods box we have... oh wait. This isn't the green foods box! well this is the sort of stuff that should have been in there but I guess I got my broccoli after all! This is a brightening facial or body cream with 75% broccoli extract. With vitamin C and E it calms and heals the skin whilst brightening it. This sounds wonderful! If this had been in my green foods box it would have improved it tenfold so maybe I shall pretend it did come in it to make me feel less disappointed with it!

4. Boscians Cycle Repair Whitening Spot 15ml $24
This brand name seems really familiar to me and I cannot place it. I've never got it in a Memebox and I cannot find any UK stores selling it. Maybe I am just confusing it with another brand. This has green bud complex  and is for spot fading on dark spots of under eyes. I am particularly interested in this as an under eye cream as I can get dark circles if I haven't slept enough, so this could be very useful!

5. WITHME White Perfection Hydrating Cream 120ml $43
Check out the disco fabulous packaging! Holographic polka dots are a packaging trend I never knew I loved until now! This contains lots of silk concentrates and ocean complex, which sounds really nice. The silk proteins help 'detoxify the melanin pigments' in your skin which I assume means helps any hyperpigmentation, and the sea minerals and coral extracts deeply relieve and replenish exhausted skin. It is a thin gel lotion type consistency and goes onto the skin very nicely. It smells odd, just like a disco smoke machine, which I find brilliant in conjunction with its disco fabulous packaging. I am instantly transported back to the late 90's school discos! Admittedly its not the most pleasant smell but I can deal with it whilst loudly singing 'Mr Vain' into my hairbrush.

This box overall is awesome. I am so pleased I got it. I have picked up a few skincare focussed boxes and this has definitely been my favourite, much more so than the similarly themed Snow White box. I got this in a bundle with Wish Upon a Mask and it was $23 which i think is an absolute bargain. The items in this box have a Memevalue of $196! I definitely value this at way more than the $23 I paid for it and I think I would pick up a restock given half the chance!

Memebox has a lot of restocked boxes that are still available if you want to go pick some up. This one sadly isn't available though! (and to be honest I would probably have bought them all anyway!) You can use code RQ6V9A to get $5 off a $30 or more order, and you can also get affiliate discounts if your order creeps up to $100!

Memebox!
Thank you for reading!
